Tienkung Dex: dexterous manipulation, teleoperation and AI data

The next generation of humanoid robotics depends on high-quality data and hands that can perform varied tasks. The Tienkung Dex configuration available through Humatrix targets teams researching dexterous manipulation, reinforcement learning, vision-language-action models and teleoperation.

Technology and context

The platform combines a research humanoid body, high-performance computing and optional dexterous hands. This architecture supports demonstration capture, control-policy testing and research across perception, decision and physical action.

How Humatrix is developing this use case

Humatrix is developing environments for data capture, teleoperation, object manipulation and model validation. We help turn a complex platform into an experimental programme with defined tasks, sensors, data formats, success criteria, repeatability and safety.

Responsible deployment

Laboratory results are not production-ready applications. Models require out-of-sample testing, operating limits, failure logging and appropriate supervision before future real-world use.

Tienkung Dex belongs to the Walker Tienkung research ecosystem jointly developed by UBTECH and the Beijing Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center. Humatrix adapts the configuration to Iberian R&D projects.
