How to evaluate a humanoid robotics project
Choose a humanoid robot for the task it can perform in your process. This HUMATRIX guide helps companies in Portugal and Spain prepare a technical assessment before selecting a platform or requesting a quotation.

1. Start with the task, not the robot
Describe the collection point, destination, objects, weights, dimensions and required throughput. Record the existing process and what you want to improve: physical effort, repeatability, availability or data capture. A process video without confidential information can help prepare the technical discussion.
2. Check the working environment
Measure access routes, level changes, manoeuvring space and transfer heights. Identify people, forklifts, lighting, networks and floor conditions. A humanoid shape does not mean a platform can perform every human task. Mobility and manipulation must be checked in the actual environment.
3. Match the platform to the application
Walker S2 can be evaluated for manipulation and industrial tasks; CRUZR Y1 for manipulation scenarios on a mobile base. Walker C1 and Walker C address service and interaction contexts. U1 PRO may be considered for interaction experiences; Walker Tienkung for research and development. The suitable configuration depends on technical evaluation, not just a manufacturer video.
4. Define integration, safety and supervision
Identify connected systems, required data and who will supervise operations. The assessment should consider risks, shared traffic, stopping, fault recovery and training. A demonstration does not replace risk assessment or validation of requirements applicable at the installation site.
5. Measure a pilot against clear criteria
Before testing, define success rate, cycle time, autonomy, operator interventions and stop criteria. Compare with the existing process and include preparation, charging and recovery time. A pilot provides evidence for process suitability and an investment decision.
6. Prepare a quotation request for Portugal or Spain
Provide the project location, task, load, available space, integration and target schedule. HUMATRIX structures the discussion around platform selection, evaluation, pilot, training and support. Supply, options, installation conditions and support are confirmed in the quotation; immediate availability is not assumed.
FAQ
How much does a humanoid robot cost?
The amount depends on the model, configuration, software, integration and supply terms. Ask HUMATRIX for a quotation for your project.
Can I arrange a demonstration?
You can request a demonstration from HUMATRIX. Format, platform and availability are confirmed after discussing the application.
Do the videos show a HUMATRIX installation?
Videos and images labelled UBTECH are manufacturer demonstrations. They do not automatically represent a project delivered by HUMATRIX.
