CRUZR S2 and safe collaboration: mobility in industrial environments

Shared industrial mobility requires more than navigation from A to B. CRUZR S2 must detect people and obstacles, adapt speed and execute arm tasks without creating hazards in the work area.

Collaboration starts with process design

Routes, crossings, priorities and delivery points need to be explicit. Robot perception complements but does not replace signage, training, risk assessment and emergency procedures.

How HUMATRIX is developing this use case

HUMATRIX is structuring progressive trials: operation without people, controlled presence, predictable crossings and only then greater variability. Each stage has speed, distance, payload and stop criteria.

Indicators that matter

In addition to cycle time, the pilot measures preventive stops, false detections, route blocks, recovery and operator comfort. Collaboration is effective only when it is understandable to the people sharing the space.
