Walker S2 for physical AI data centers: capture, test and improve

25/07/2026

Scaling Walker S2 creates a parallel need: high-quality data to teach, test and improve physical skills. A physical-AI data center combines teleoperation, autonomous repetition, annotation and evaluation in representative tasks.

Useful data, not only volume

Every demonstration should include context, software version, robot state, outcome and failure cause. Without this structure, more recorded hours do not automatically mean better learning or safer behaviour.

How HUMATRIX is developing this use case

HUMATRIX is studying data-capture cells for handling, logistics and industrial interaction. The method separates training, validation and test data, preserves traceability and defines who may access or reuse each record.

Privacy and safety

Images, voice and factory information should be minimised and protected. Moving from teleoperation to autonomy requires controlled trials, action limits and human review of failure cases.

Walker S2 is manufactured by UBTECH. HUMATRIX develops application and validation methods without claiming to operate centers announced by other entities.
