CRUZR Y1 for depalletising, sorting and box logistics

Box logistics must cope with changes in position, size and sequence. Introduced by UBTECH in 2026, CRUZR Y1 is a wheeled industrial humanoid aimed at transport, loading, unloading and sorting on flat industrial floors.

Technology and context

During its public launch demonstration, CRUZR Y1 completed a box depalletising and palletising cycle. Its mobile base and humanoid upper body target operations where fixed automation loses flexibility as containers, references or delivery points change.

How Humatrix is developing this use case

Humatrix is developing CRUZR Y1 use cases for removing boxes from stacks, feeding conveyors, sorting totes and transferring material between production and warehouse areas. As a recent platform, each project starts with technical validation of payloads, reach, floor, cadence and tooling.

Responsible deployment

The responsible route is a bounded pilot using real samples, risk assessment and metrics for success rate, cycle time and human intervention. Final configuration and expansion follow only after validation.
